LEGOLAND Florida: What to know before you go!
I have been compensated for this post; however, I am sharing my
own thoughts. All opinions are my own.
LEGOLAND. It’s what kid dreams are made of! As far back as I can remember, LEGO bricks were the cool toy to have. I had a few sets growing up, but they were nothing quite intricate and elaborate like the ones my little ones (and maybe myself) have now. Each birthday or holiday, you can bet that there’s a new set on their list. As parents, we absolutely love LEGO sets because it allows our children to think, be imaginative and constructive.Continue Reading
Monster Ice Cream Cupcakes
Okay, so Fall is finally here and for me that means more than pumpkin spice everything. Halloween is one of my favorite holidays. I’m not sure if it’s because it’s so close to my birthday or just because it’s so much fun. This year, my kids have chosen some pretty random costumes, but I’m totally okay with it. We’re all going to be dolls and you’re going to have to stalk my Instagram account to see us on the big night because I don’t want to ruin the surprise.
It’s a little early for me to start posting Halloween related content, but I couldn’t help myself. So, I thought these colorful no-so-Halloween-ish Monster Ice Cream Cupcakes would be a great way to ease us into what will begin the start of our holi”daze”. Once we hit Halloween, the remainder of the year just flies on by.Continue Reading

This post is brought to you by Energizer® and The Motherhood. However, all opinions are my own.
Don’t you just love summer nights? The kids are home and you can totally go off of the ‘school schedule’ and have some fun. My littles have been out of school for over a month now and my biggest challenge has been getting them outdoors during the day. The heat and humidity hasn’t been so friendly this summer, so unless it involves a pool…it’s a no-go during the day.
Bunbun has been quite the night owl as of late and since the weather is much better after the sun goes down, we’ve been spending some evenings outdoors and Lighting up our summer with Energizer®! Read on to find out more and don’t forget to enter the giveaway!Continue Reading
Explore the Great Outdoors with the Ultimate Northern Florida Family Vacation
This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Ocala/Marion County VCB for IZEA. All opinions are 100% mine.
When it comes to summer in South Florida, we are usually all about living in the moment. We tend to take things day-by-day and see where we end up. Most of our days consist of sleeping in, relaxing and lots of water activities to keep us cool. However, I do attempt a mini-vacation at some point. Depending on hubby’s schedule, of course.Continue Reading
Making Memories with Dad and Gillette® Mach3® Signature Edition Razor
This post is sponsored by Vocalpoint, P&G and Gillette. All opinions are my own.
One thing that always gets me is seeing Dad’s out with their children. It’s not very often that I see this, but when I do, it genuinely warms my heart. I truly believe that children need their fathers, so seeing them out having ice cream, walking in the park or shopping makes me so happy inside. I realize how lucky I am to have a husband who is so involved with our children. Although he works crazy hours, he always finds time to spend with the kids. And the best part? The kids are totally infatuated with him.Continue Reading
5 Summer Activities for You & Your Dog + $25 Pup-Peroni Giveaway
During the summer, it can be difficult to get out with our pets here. It’s so hot and humid that we tend to stay indoors most of the time unless we are in the pool. Keeping your dogs cool is so important. As they’re covered in a thick coat of fur, they usually feel the heat a lot more than we do. Whilst outdoors may be off-limits in the sun, there are things we can do inside that can keep our dogs cool. One of the best ways to keep your dog from overheating is by installing an air conditioning unit inside the house. No matter where you live, you should be able to get air conditioning installed. For example, those in Houston TX could always call out a company like Indoor Comfort Specialists. That should help the dog to stay indoors comfortably. The sun can be dangerous, so make sure your house is cool enough to keep the dog inside. Additionally, I’ve been told that using a cooling mat is a different way to keep your dog cool if you don’t have a pool so it’s worth checking that option. However, Sophie has so much energy that she needs to spend or else she goes nuts in the house. We try to keep her as active as possible while keeping her cool at the same time.Continue Reading
