One thing that always gets me is seeing Dad’s out with their children. It’s not very often that I see this, but when I do, it genuinely warms my heart. I truly believe that children need their fathers, so seeing them out having ice cream, walking in the park or shopping makes me so happy inside. I realize how lucky I am to have a husband who is so involved with our children. Although he works crazy hours, he always finds time to spend with the kids. And the best part? The kids are totally infatuated with him.
Our little guy wants to be just like his Dad. They go everywhere together and he mimics everything my hubby does. One of the ways they spend quality time together is when my husband shaves. My little guy goes in there with his pretend razor, gets up on a chair and memories are made. It’s the cutest thing watching him lather his face with the shaving cream and watching my husbands every move.
Since my husband has to shave daily, we usually purchase all of his razors and blades at Costco. Doing so is very convenient for us so we are not having to buy them every couple of weeks. I knew he would be needing a new razor soon, and he’s always used the Gillette® Mach3®. So, in staying with that, I purchased the Gillette® Mach3® Signature Edition Razor and Gillette Fusion ProGlide 2-in-1 Shave Gel (3-pack) for him at my most recent Costco haul.
I grabbed a travel bag, stuffed it with his new Gillette® Mach3® Signature Edition Razor, a bottle of the Gillette Fusion ProGlide 2-in-1 Shave Gel and a couple extra goodies. I left it on the bathroom counter for him to find as a little surprise and when he came home from work, he was happy to see his new ‘stache kit’ that I made for him. The Gillette® Mach3® Signature Edition Razor features 3 blades with an advanced anti-friction coating that helps remove each hair with less irritation. It came with the handle and 14 cartridges which will last him a couple of months at the very least, since he’s a daily shaver. This means, less of those last-minute, midnight trips to the local 24-hour pharmacy for cartridges.
Giving my husband this new kit not only helped him get a smooth shave, up to 100% redness-free (it’s possible with Mach3®), it allowed him and my son to have some more quality time with one another. These moments are those that will create lifelong memories for my little guy. And it’s my hope that he will do the same with his own children someday.
