I’m so happy Spring is here! The beautiful sound of the birds chirping every morning as I hustle out the door is just lovely. It’s one of the first things I notice about springtime here in South Florida. The weather is great and the pool is already calling my name. But first, I have some spring cleaning to get done – and that includes cleaning the pool! We do have a pool cleaner robot but I still need to make sure the chlorine levels are right. Now, to be truthful; I used to loathe cleaning. But then again, who really likes it? And I know what you’re thinking. What’s a stay-at-home mom need a cleaning service for? Well, that’s how much I didn’t like it!

Over time, I’ve learned to do quick little cleanings each day and when I found Pledge® Multi Surface Antibacterial Everyday Cleaner at my local Walmart in the home cleaning aisle and saw its many uses, I was excited to give it a try. We’ve been using Pledge® for years on all of our wood pieces, but this one can be used on multiple surfaces. You can use it on wood, laminate, marble, granite, stainless steel, porcelain, electronics and even glass! It’s also antibacterial, and kills 99.9% of bacteria and germs, including the flu virus, which is great for us because the kids bring home so many germs from school. It might be a good idea for me to step it up with the vacuum cleaner soon. My friend told me that she was looking at vacuum cleaner brands recently to find the right vacuum cleaner for her home and it helped give her the motivation to clean more often with a vacuum cleaner she liked.

Pledge® Multi Surface Antibacterial Everyday Cleaner really helped me condense the number of cleaning supplies I needed to stock up on as well. When I clean my kitchen, I use it on my stainless steel appliances; the kids’ fingerprints are all over the fridge! I’ve always purchased special cleaners made specifically for stainless appliances, but this works great and does an awesome job. I also use it on the counters, stove, microwave and believe it or not, my sink! In the dining room, I use it on my table (several times a week). I also use it on the chairs at least two times a month. And finally, for the living room; I clean our mantle, book shelves, entertainment center and even our Peanuts figurines get a good wipe down. The best part? I only have to use one cloth and I can use it on multiple surfaces without leaving any smeary residue! The only downside I could think of was that it can’t clean up the carpets. It’s a shame but I can just find a company that does carpet cleaning in atascocita to spruce them up a bit.
